ACCOUNT DELETION

01Who Has an Account?

Filipino Mahjong: Joker Rules does not require an account to play. You only have an account if you've signed in inside the app using Google or Apple. If you've never tapped Settings → Save Progress, you don't have a cloud account — all your data is stored only on your device and is removed automatically when you uninstall the app. See the privacy policy's deletion section for the local-only case.

The rest of this page covers deleting a signed-in cloud account.

02In-App Deletion (Preferred)

If you can still open the app, this is the fastest and most reliable path:

1. Open Filipino Mahjong: Joker Rules on your device.
2. Tap the ⚙ gear icon on the home screen to open Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Read the confirmation prompt and tap Delete Forever to confirm.

The app will immediately:

• Permanently delete your Firebase Authentication account record (your email, display name, and account ID).
• Permanently delete your Cloud Firestore document (your game progress: Mahjong Points, tier, milestones, cosmetics, daily challenge state, scores, achievement progress).
• Reset your local data on this device so you can keep playing as a guest from a clean slate.

This is irreversible. There is no recovery once you tap Delete Forever.

03Email Request (If You No Longer Have the App)

If you've uninstalled the app, lost access to your device, or otherwise cannot use the in-app deletion path, you can request deletion by email.

Send an email from the same email address you used to sign in (Google or Apple account email) to:

If your Apple sign-in used Apple's "Hide My Email" private relay address, please email us from that relay address (you can still send mail through it via your Apple ID settings). If you can't access either address, mention that in the email and we'll work with you on a manual verification path.

04What Gets Deleted

• Firebase Authentication record — your account ID, email, and display name as stored by Firebase Auth.
• Cloud Firestore document — the document at users/{your-account-id} containing your Mahjong Points, tier, milestone unlocks, cosmetics, equipped table and tile back, achievement progress, game history, and daily challenge state.
• Local device data — if you use the in-app deletion path, your device's local copy is also wiped to defaults. The email request path can only delete cloud data; any local data on the device remains until you uninstall the app or use Settings → Reset Account.

05What Does NOT Get Deleted

The following data is retained because it is fully anonymized and not linked to your account identity:

• Anonymous gameplay analytics — aggregated events about which menus are opened, how many games are started/finished, and ad interactions, collected by Google Firebase Analytics. These are tied to an anonymous device install ID, not to your sign-in account, and contain no personally identifiable information.
• Anonymous crash diagnostics — device model, OS version, and stack traces from app crashes, collected by Google Firebase Crashlytics. Also not linked to your sign-in account.

For details on these services, see Section 9 of our Privacy Policy. To remove the anonymous device-install data as well, uninstall the app from your device.

06Timing

• In-app deletion: immediate. Your data is gone the moment you tap Delete Forever.
• Email request: typically processed within 1–3 business days, and always within 7 business days. You'll receive a confirmation reply once the deletion is complete.

07After Deletion

If you reinstall the app and sign in again with the same Google or Apple account, a brand-new account will be created. None of your previous progress — Mahjong Points, tier, milestones, cosmetics — will be recovered. You'll start fresh, like a new player.
